7 Day Primate & Canopy Path

This journey is a meditation, a study of Rwanda’s two ancient green hearts. It begins in the Virunga highlands, a canvas of mist and volcanic earth, where you will seek the soulful, silent gaze of the mountain gorilla. From this world of giants, the path turns south to Nyungwe, a realm of sound, motion, and dizzying heights. Here, you will chase the call of the chimpanzee and walk suspended in the clouds on the famed canopy bridge. This is an artist’s journey of observation, from the earth to the sky, concluding with a day of reflection in Kigali to honor the nation’s resilient spirit.
